The duration of the process depends on the complexity of the project. Generally, it takes 4-8 weeks for initial concepts and planning. Larger projects may require additional time for consultation, refinement, and on-going support throughout construction.

How much does landscape architecture cost?

Costs vary greatly based on the size of the project, design complexity, and location. Typically, designs start at $500 and can be $5,000 or more for larger projects. I can provide a detailed estimate after a free 15 minute consultation. For larger projects, I recommend booking an hour long consultation to receive a more comprehensive project outline and proposal. The consultation fee will then be credited towards the cost of the design.

Yes! I offer consultations tailored to DIY enthusiasts, providing the information and resources needed to successfully complete your landscaping project. I offer low-cost pre-made planting plans for different site conditions that can be adapted to your landscape. Through-out your project, you can schedule consulting as needed and you’ll get professional tips for planning, design, and plant care.

How much does a consultation cost?

Consultations are billed hourly. The rate is $120/hr. Additional charges may apply for sites outside of the GTA.
